While it isn&#8217;t a revenue generating unit, it can significantly optimize costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-small-font-size\"><strong>Main warehouse functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-small-font-size\"><li>It leads to better decisions which saves money for the business.<\/li><li>Store inventory of various types.<\/li><li>Accurately track consumption.<\/li><li>Helping leadership to grow products based on reports.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-secondary-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-secondary-background-color has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-container-8 wp-block-group\">\n<h4><strong>Understanding<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-container-7 wp-block-group\">\n<div class=\"wp-container-6 wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-container-5 wp-block-column\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\" style=\"border-radius:10px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/amrnaga.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Strategy-674x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-58\" width=\"393\" height=\"580\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-small-font-size\">I started the process by understanding the problems and the users and defining the problems and ended with validation. This process provided me with a roadmap and here are the highlights of the meeting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-small-font-size\"><li>Discussed the business goals<\/li><li>Know more about their problems<\/li><li>Understand their offline workflow<\/li><li>Determine our key metrics.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-small-font-size\">The result of this meeting was amazing. This helped us gather insights and a more educated view of the problem at hand. This process ultimately helped us refine our problem statement and how might we develop some ways to reframe the assumptions into more actionable solutions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr has-small-font-size\">With all my research and conclusions in mind, I started building the dashboard. Starting with some rough sketches on paper, I drew up some ideas on the whiteboard, sought feedback from my teammates and then brought the final ideations to life in Adobe XD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-small-font-size\">After defining the overall structure, it was time to pull out the pencil.&nbsp;I usually sketch the design process with low-fidelity wireframes.
